The client had made it very clear that we would work on a solution for a predominately underdeveloped region comprising people with limited technical prowess. Our skilled team ensured a series of preliminary talks with the client to gain deep insights into the client’s business and technical objectives of the marketplace software they were looking to build with our support. This process was hassle-free, and we could decide on the project requirements quickly.

While the client’s initial plan was to opt for a shelf solution to minimize the costs and keep a shorter time-to-market, they decided to develop the solution from scratch, given its complexities.
A Simplified Yet Wholesome Design Interface And Backend
Given how unorganized the logistics industry is in Africa and the end-users are not very technical, our client needed a simple mobile app solution that contained all necessary features and delivered an exceptional user experience.
Based on the business requirements and target audience, our UX team ensured the solution adoption was seamless.
Another obstacle was performing the eKYC of the carriers simply via the app, so the functionality was designed to avoid multiple verification steps and that the marketplace admin could manage it from the backend.
End-To-End Support For The Client — From Ideation To Deployment
The client informed us about their app vision and what challenges they wanted to solve with it. We brainstorm extensively to identify the features and functionalities best suited for the app.
For each user identity (Carrier, Shipper, and Drivers), our specialists designed a UI/UX workflow to ensure the platform got developed as required. It took 2-3 iterations to finalize the blueprint before we started writing the codebase.
The project execution happened on Time & Material model, unbinding the client from a fixed scope and giving them complete control over planning the platform features.
Once the app was launched, we started with the next phase to connect an ERP with the marketplace database. For the same, we offer ongoing support to the client.
